Items Encouraging Illegal Activity In the form of Books, DVD's or Other.
Embargoed GoodsItems Prohibited from Countries: examples include items from Cuba
Military ItemsPolice-related firearms, ammunition, weapons, and knives: examples include pepper spray, replicas, and stun guns
Gambling ItemsLottery Tickets, Casino promotional items, slot machines or Penny Auction bid packs.
Opportunity OffersMulti-level marketing, pyramid, and matrix programs, This does NOT include Books or Educational Media related to these topics.
Offensive MaterialOffensive material: examples include pornography, ethnically or racially offensive material, Nazi memorabilia and items promoting Gay or Lesbian lifestyles
Drugs, Tobacco & drug paraphernaliaNo prescription (or otherwise) drugs, bong's, cigars, cigarettes, wrapping papers, etc. This does NOT include: Inhalers, Patches, Gums or other Stop Smoking items.
Stocks and other securitiesStocks, bonds or other securities public or private.
Cosmetics, usedSelling used Cosmetics or used personal items like socks or underwear is just gross.
Counterfeit or Stolen ItemsCounterfeit currency and stamps stolen property and property with removed serial numbers
Recalled itemsItems prohibited from sale because of manufacture recall.
Plants and seedsPlants, seeds or weeds.
Artifacts or Grave-excavated itemsArtifacts, grave-related items, and Native American arts and crafts
Religious Idols and ServicesItems used in religious ceremonies. Services that promote any specfic religious point of view. Services that claim to act as an intermediary on behalf of god or any other proposed religious deity.

The United States Postal Service's definition of a hazardous material includes many common household and consumer products. These items may not be hazardous during normal use or storage in your home but can present a significant hazard when placed in the mail due to vibration, temperature changes, and variations in atmospheric pressure.
